Calling all Bakers and Volunteers!!

Calling all Bakers:  We will be in need of Baked Goods for our Bake Sale.  Also, if you have any Halloween candy that you would like to supply, place some pieces in little plastic bags for sale at the feis!  Same with cookies/brownies/etc.  Please place them in little baggies for easy sales.

Volunteer slots:  Our feis is fast approaching and below are the areas where we are still in need of volunteers.  There is no one scheduled at the end of the day for cleanup.  We need many people to help with the clean up after the feis is over.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Volunteers should wear Royal Coyle t-shirt (or any royal shirt) and khaki or black pants.

Hand out Trophies/Medals for Grade dancers outside of “Yellow Room”

Hospitality – need 2 more

1:00pm – 3:00pm

Hospitality is responsible for providing breakfast, lunch and drinks to Judges, Musicians and Tabulators throughout the day. The room is located on the second floor mezzanine above the rinks near the Championship stages, in the office area. Stairs can be accessed at the Main Entrance.

Stage Runner – need 2 more

1:00pm – 3:00pm

Circulate periodically to championship and grade stages to pick up judges’ marks sheets after the competition is complete and return to Tabulation rooms for tabulation. Grade Tabulation is located in the Yellow Room off of Rink #2 next to the bleachers. Championship tabulation is locted on the second floor mezzanine in the office area.

Tabulation – need at least 1 more

1:00pm – 3:00pm

Enter judge’s scores into computer for Grade competitions, post results on wall.

Competitor Card Table – need at least 1 person

1:30pm – 3:30pm

Hand out competitor cards to dancers at the feis entrance. Competitor Cards are organized in alphabetical order by last name.

Stage Runner – need at least 2 people (there is no one scheduled)

3:00pm – 5:00pm

Circulate periodically to all stages to pick up judges’ marks sheets and return to Tabulation rooms for tabulation. Grade Tabulation (Alan) is located in the Yellow Room off of Rink #2 next to the bleachers. Championship Tabulution (Jim) will be located on the second floor mezzanine in the office area.

 Tabulation – need 3 people – no one has signed up

3:00pm – 5:00pm

Grade tabulation is located in the Yellow Room off of Rink #2 next to the bleachers. Enter judge’s scores into computer. Post results on wall.

Championship Awards – need 3 people – no one has signed up

4:00pm – 6:00pm

Championship Awards area will be located on the second floor above the rinks. Stairs can be accessed off the Main Entrance. Assist in setting up trophies for awards, posting award times, handing out marks and distributing gift cards to dancers who wish to exchange their awards for gift cards. Announcing awards if needed, medal rounds for Open Championship and overall placements and presentation of Perpetual awards.

Clean Up – We need lots of bodies . . . there is no one signed up for this.

4:00pm – 6:00pm

Clean up begins as competitions are completed and stages close: disassembling stages and loading into trucks, taking down chairs and tables, picking up Lost and Found, , packing up excess trophies, taking down signs, etc. We really need about eight men to assist in breaking down stages and loading into trucks. All help is welcome!
