A few reminders to all parents:
Tuition for the winter session is now due.
Save the dates for the parades. The information is below.


Saint Patrick's Day Parade Information

Conshohocken Parade (Conshohocken, PA) Saturday, March 13th

Line up 1pm parade to begin at 2pm

Philadelphia Parade Sunday, March 14th

Parade practice March 6th - mandatory for participation in the parade.
Fellowship House in Conshohocken
6th and Harry Sts. - 10:30am (beginners 1pm) practice over at 3pm
*If you are attending the Marie Moore Feis, we will have a practice prior to parade practice from
9am to 10:30am at the Fellowship House.


Here is some information on the parades and the practice.
Who can participate: any Coyle Dancer, even beginners. (We do require a Coyle costume, information below.) We ask that if you plan to participate, you do both parades. This helps us with the practice and in the routine we will be performing. If you are going to dance, you must come to the practice. New dancers and beginners will only be needed for the last half of the practice. If you are unsure if your dancers can do the parade, just ask your teacher.

COYLE COSTUMES
All participants in the parade must wear the following:
1. Coyle School Costume with black tights and black shoes, dance sneakers or other black shoes.
OR
2. Coyle School skirt and cape, all white turtleneck and either sweater or sweatshirt. Must be all white. Black tights and black shoes. If you need to order a skirt and cape, go to the school website and click on the beginner skirt link on the front page and follow directions. Remember this skirt is coming from Belfast will take a few weeks. You must put this skirt and cape is for the "Coyle School in Phila, USA". 3. Boys: black pants, dark turtle neck and an Irish Sweater. Black shoes.

USED DRESSES: If you have a Coyle School costume or a skirt and cape you would like to sell, now is the time to do it!!! Please post it on our website (Click HERE to post) and you can email Patsy at patswrabs@verizon.net. We will do a one time email of all of the used dresses for sale with your name and email. You must email Patsy by January 29th. This email will go out on February 1st. THIS IS A ONE TIME OFFER! Parents, you will be responsible for the contact and the sale of the dress once the email goes out.

HAIR: Dancers must have their hair curled, in ringlets or dancers may choose to wear the Coyle School wig which is the "Nicole" on www.4irishdancers.net. You can order a wig from the website and include you are ordering from the Coyle School for the school discount. If you need to select a color your teachers will have color swatches. NO BUNS, BANANA CLIPS OR PONYTAILS PERMITTED. Dancers should have on the Coyle School headband with the school dress or a white ribbon or white headband if you are in the skirt and cape. (no tiaras)
If it is cold, dancers will be allowed to wear their coats till the last minute!

PARENTS
*We ask that only the dads of our dancers march with us. We will have sign up sheets on the day of the practice. Dads are to wear the same as our boy dancers: blacks slacks, dark turtle neck and a traditional Irish sweater. Our dads are in charge of security, bathrooms runs and coat removal.
