New students need to be 5 years of age as of September 1, 2007.
Students do not need any previous dance experience before attending our classes.
Classes are held once a week for an hour. The class time does become longer at the more advanced levels.
Classes are held from September through June.
Attire in class should include shorts and t-shirts. Dance skirts and leotards are not mandatory.
It is not mandatory to have the official Irish dance soft shoe to start classes. (They make great Christmas gifts!) Any soft soled shoe will work fine. No bare feet or socks as this will make the dancer's feet sore.
Competitions and performances are strictly on a volunteer basis. Students are not forced to do either.
Class costumes are only needed by students interested in competing or performing. Costumes are appropriate for the different class levels. An online costume shop for student's selling used costumes and shoes is located HERE (see For Sale)
Spectators are not permitted in the studio while class is underway. Not only is it a large distraction to the dancers, but the studio space is limited.
If you are interested in registering for the Fall 2006 New Beginner classes, please print the registration form (PDF- Acrobat Reader required) and send it and $10 per student to the address included on the registration form (PDF).
